This page describes how the Horizon Towers reserve-study information site (1111thetowers.com) handles your data.
Who runs this site
This site is independently developed and funded by Brad Pollard, a Horizon Towers owner. It is not an official communication channel of the Horizon Towers Condominium Association. The official HOA site is at htca81506.net.
What we collect
The site collects the minimum information needed to function:
- Your email address, if you request a magic-link login. We keep your email so we can send you a login link and recognize you on future visits.
- Your unit number, if you provide it when requesting access, to confirm you are an owner.
- Login timestamps and IP addresses, recorded when you sign in. This is used to detect and block brute-force login attempts and to alert the site owner to suspicious activity.
- Pages you visit, in standard web-server access logs maintained by the hosting provider (HostGator).
What we do NOT collect
- Third-party analytics or advertising trackers. No Google Analytics, no Facebook pixel, no cookies for marketing purposes.
- Passwords or personal identifiers beyond what’s listed above. The site uses passwordless magic-link sign-in by default.
- Financial information. The site does not process payments and does not request credit-card or bank information.
How we use your information
Your email is used only to send you the login link you requested. Your unit number is used only to confirm you are an owner. Login timestamps and IP addresses are used only for site security. We do not sell, share, or transfer your information to any third party.
Cookies
The site sets a session cookie when you sign in, to recognize you on subsequent pages. The cookie expires automatically when you close your browser or log out. No tracking cookies are set.
Data retention
Login logs are retained indefinitely while the site is operational, for security review. If you want your account or login history removed, email bradjpollard@gmail.com with subject “HT site data removal request” and we will delete your records.
